I took these headshots for an actress friend in Tybee Island, Georgia this week. We had planned to shoot outside, but I noticed some beautiful light in her sitting room, so we shot a few indoors. I improvised a makeshift studio out of a couple of wingback chairs, a bedsheet and some windows.

They say necessity is the mother of invention. Whoever they are, they were right. As I've mentioned before, I really enjoy improvising when I have the opportunity.

We also went to the beach for some shots in the surf. I'll post a few from that session later this week.
